Are you confident in your smile? Do you feel self-conscious to show your teeth because?. Here are some good practice to keep the teeth and gums healthy.

1. Brush your teeth regularly

Gently brush your teeth on all sides with a soft-bristle brush. Use small circular motions and short back-and-forth strokes. Brush carefully and gently along the gum line. Remember to lightly brush your tongue to help keep the mouth clean.

2. Use fluoride based toothpaste

Fluoride is a common content in toothpaste that helps prevent tooth decay by slowing down the breakdown of enamel and increases the rate of remineralization process.

3. Floss daily

Clean around your teeth with dental floss. Ensure to rinse after you floss.

4. Use mouthwash

The benefits of using mouthwash include:

5. Go for regular 6 monthly check-up

Regular dental check up is important as it helps to keep your teeth and gums healthy. It is recommended to go every 6 months. During your check up, your dentist will examine your teeth, gums and mouth in order to look for any signs of disease. Some appointment may include x-rays to check for oral issues such as impacted teeth, jawbone damage or decay between teeth.
